Brief: Midterm Elections 2022

Short talking points:

• The midterm elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. On the ballet are 34 of the 100 Senate seats and all 435 House seats. The control of Congress is up for grabs. Right now the Dem’s have control by a razor-thin margin, with a slight majority in the House and a split 50/50 Senate with VP Kamala Harris as the tie-breaking vote. Additionally 36 of 50 states will elect Governors. The primaries started in March and will end in mid-September.
