Election day 2021 is Tue, Nov 2 – List of major state elections

This year the election day is on Tuesday, November 2.

Election day is always the Tuesday after the first Monday of the month.

    • On May 6, incumbent Keisha Lance Bottoms announced that she will not seek re-election, making her the first Atlanta mayor not to seek re-election since World War II.

  • Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Jackson, Mississippi
  • Albany, New York
  • New York, New York
    • Eric Adams (D), Curtis Silwa (R), and eight other candidates are competing for mayor of New York City.
    • Due to term restrictions, incumbent Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) will not seek re-election.
