Startup Mindset

If you are in a startup, or are a member of the startup community, you know that people can get pretty competitive. Before entering any type of "meeting of the minds", you should skim these notes to pick up some conversational tech. It's always good to carry at least a few concealed gems with you.

On a side note, it is also very important to know your role and responsibilities in the startup or community. If you are in a leadership position, then it is also a good idea to know the role and responsibilities of everyone else in your circle too.

As is the case in all social settings, your mindset should also include the strongest cards you're holding in your hand, your personal strengths. These cards should anchor your self-esteem and ego in all situations. The fundamental set of cards you could be holding include: money, power, physical appearance, swag, and the mastery of one or more skills. It also helps to know which card is your ace.
